After last year’s extraordinary audience success, we are returning to an exceptional project that connects the world of film with live symphonic music. Once again, we will present the iconic film Home Alone, beloved by audiences around the world, accompanied by our symphony orchestra and the choir Prague Pop Symphonics.

A sold-out hall, a powerful atmosphere, and the immediate reactions of the audience during the first performance showed us that this format has its place in the Czech environment. That is why we have decided to bring this unique experience back. This year, you can once again look forward to a screening of the film on a large-format screen, accompanied live by 150 professional musicians on stage. Every dramatic and comedic moment will come to life thanks to the legendary music of John Williams, which gives the story of little Kevin its unmistakable atmosphere.

“Last year’s concert was a major milestone for us. The audience reactions were incredible and confirmed that it makes sense to continue with this project. Seeing the delighted faces of the audience, hearing children warn Kevin about the burglars, and experiencing the final standing ovation with which the audience rewarded all the performing musicians was truly fulfilling,” says Lenka Dandová, Director of Prague Pop Symphonics. “We are delighted to be able to offer this experience again this year, and we believe it will once again be one of the highlights of the Christmas season.”

It was clear that we would want to return to this project,” adds orchestra producer Lukáš Cach. “Home Alone is a timeless classic that brings together entire families and generations, as we had the opportunity to witness during the first performance. The film, combined with live music, gains a completely new dimension, and as it turned out, Czech audiences are fond of projects of this kind and can truly appreciate the added value of a live performance.”

Home Alone in Concert will once again be presented in its original Czech dubbing, so both children and adults can fully enjoy it with us. Experience the story of Kevin McCallister, who defends his home against a pair of clumsy burglars, in a unique concert format like you have never seen before!

Due to last year’s success and the completely sold-out venue, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance.

Notice: Due to the nature of the event and the requirements of the rights holder, late arrivals will not be allowed into the hall once the screening of the film has started. Therefore, it is essential to plan your arrival with ample time in advance. Latecomers will only be admitted during the intermission, halfway through the film.
